I am currently working on revising the Facilitator’s Guide I discussed in my last post. Additionally, I am sifting through the responses I got to a student satisfaction survey I administered to the students who were in the course for which I piloted the service learning component of Program Evaluation. My goal is to gain some insights from the student feedback I receive so that other instructors who wish to incorporate service learning have some tips from my perspective and from students’ perspectives. I am working on this just as I prepare to head to yet another summer conference – my favorite conference, the American Psychological Association. When I return from the conference, I hope to be in the phase of doing final revisions of the documents I am creating for my summer project.
